Did we really go to The Moon? I was told that the computing power of a modern-day "smartphone" is 100,000 times greater than the Apollo Guidance Computer. If we could go on 4kb of RAM and 72kb of ROM, then doing it again today should be an easy layup.

Great points Jim. I retired earlier this year at the age of 62 because, in part, I felt I was having a hard time connecting with many of the students who didn't know how to converse beyond their phones. Not sure where this is all going but I'm glad to have been in college when I was.
