Thanks Steve. I attended my first big league baseball game in 1961. Eventually I worked in Major League baseball for 13 years. So the game is very close to me.
But when I became aware of these guys about 9 months ago, I knew I would eventually do something on them.
I've been following the Bananas since inception and find Jesse Cole's LinkedIn posts inspiring. After seeing Jose Bautista get punched for tossing a celebratory bat sharing a city's release of being cursed during the most bullshit, rage inducing inning I've ever seen (you bet your ass the anger in that building was responsible for all the unusual errors), seeing a team embrace celebration and fun is a big step forward IMO. (I miss the home run jacket and all the fun the players had with it but too much fun when losing is verbotten in the MLB world.)
