The first metric ever for depression seems to be the Beck Depression Inventory of 1964... still found to be present in about half of all research on depression ... aka proof that a world full of followers of Freud, Jung, etc were "uncritical thinkers"...? Note: Inventor Scientists of CBT insist on measuring before and after interventions ( measuring the change in two scores that both use the same arbitrary interpretation of the Beck BDI removes the arbitrariness)

A new library building that lends tools was emblazoned: "MEASURE TWICE, CUT ONCE"...a famous Scientist in the Biden administration found surgeons ( probably with High NPI) that trust their memory killed twice as many patients as surgeons he forced to measure... to use his "Checklist Manifesto"... their common errors included leaving surgical tools inside patients... forcing them to "CUT TWICE"... the government that owned the library fought my proposal to warn patrons by annotating the sign on their roof with a warning about rampant clinician malpractice 😳😲😁😁😁
